Mohamed R. El Taky is the Managing Partner of El Taky Law Firm. Since 2022, he has been responsible for leading the firm’s operations and expanding its areas of practice. He advises local and international clients on corporate structuring, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
His legal education includes degrees from Cairo University and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a Master’s in Public Law of Strategic Sectors and Business from Lyon III. He is admitted to the Egyptian Bar and works in Arabic, English, and French.
Mohamed has previously worked at several international and regional law firms, including Aceris Law (Paris), Rizkana & Partners, Ibrachy & Partners, and Jurisera Law. His work has involved advising on M&A transactions, cross-border investments, employment and data protection matters, and representing clients in international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, CRCICA, and UNCITRAL rules.
At El Taky Law Firm, he has developed and overseen a number of practice areas, including foreign investment, franchising, entertainment and media law, IP protection, and technology-related legal services. He regularly assists clients with drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, handling regulatory procedures with authorities such as GAFI and FRA, and managing disputes before Egyptian courts and arbitral tribunals.
His experience covers a wide range of sectors. He also supports startups and early-stage ventures on corporate governance, investment documentation, and operational legal matters.
